Pencil-Mania!

The students of the School for Applied Science and Art in Hildesheim asked international designers for statements or scribbles and their favourite pencil. Eighty designers from around the world responded and all the original works were exhibited in the Pencil Mania exhibition in Hildesheim (Germany) from 14-28 June 2013. Our own designer, Parvathy Subramanian, sent in a submission. Here are pictures of her work from the exhibition and catalogue!

Revenge of the Puppets: A review

Bumble Bee Picture Book Reviews writes about Revenge of the Puppets our lovely new picture book written by Nadine D'souza and illustrated by Ayush Rajvanshi:

Spread over 17 pages, this book has beautiful pictures dotted with Rajasthani puppets. The illustrations are colorful and the author tells a simple story through the four heroes of the book, the puppets.

Making language learning easy for children to reduce disparity in quality of education

A story on Karadi Path in YourStory.in: 

Karadi Path, an offshoot of Karadi tales, has developed a three component methodology to induce the environment of English learning in schools where it is not present. They develop processes to be implemented (around stories), provide tools to execute these processes (body language/textual/audio/video tools) and give training and support to schools for efficient delivery enhancing the English language proficiency of students. Karadi Path’s two main products are Magic English and Power English focusing on primary and advanced goals of language learning.
